Being born and raised in a South-Asian Bengali household and having an elder sister didn't help me much in getting friendly with one of the most important spaces in the whole house: The Kitchen. So my extent of cooking before I left Bangladesh for higher studies back in 2017 was how to poach an egg and specifically that and that only. If I look back there, it still amazes me that in 2021 July, I cooked for a small wedding of 25 people! Will write about that experience someday in my blog's kitchen section. If I'm proud of one thing that I learned and am still learning coming to the States, probably that will be cooking.
